In our Monthly Tzedek Club, kids come together to make a positive impact in our community and beyond! Each month, we’ll focus on a different act of kindness or social justice project, from organizing food drives to supporting local charities. Through hands-on activities and discussions, participants will learn about tzedek (justice) and how to make a difference in the world. This club is a great way for kids to build a sense of responsibility, empathy, and community while taking action to help others.

• Geared for learners in 4th-7th Grades

Join fellow Temple Beth Shalom members on the third Sunday of every month to prepare and/or deliver a hot meal, clothing, toiletries and a friendly smile to our Austin neighbors who are unhoused or in need, with Mobile Loaves & Fishes. You can come for food prep (3:00-4:00 p.m.) and/or delivery (4:00-6:00 p.m.).

Our Annual Mitzvahpalooza is a day of fun, service, and community! This exciting event brings together families to participate in a variety of hands-on mitzvah projects, It’s a fantastic opportunity to teach kids the importance of giving back while making a real difference in our community. With activities for all ages, Mitzvahpalooza is a day of meaningful action, celebration, and connection!

Our Monthly Dungeons & Dragons Club is an adventure-filled journey of imagination, strategy, and teamwork, designed for 4th-8th graders! Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, this club offers a fun and welcoming space to explore exciting quests, create characters, and collaborate on epic stories. Each month, participants will dive into new challenges, puzzles, and battles, all while developing problem-solving and social skills. It’s a great way to bond with friends, unleash creativity, and experience the magic of D&D!

This exciting event brings together families to participate in a variety of hands-on mitzvah projects, It’s a fantastic opportunity to teach kids the importance of giving back while making a real difference in our community. Temple Beth Shalom offers exciting and engaging youth group events for kids in K-7th grade. Through fun social activities, creative projects, and meaningful Jewish experiences, participants build friendships, strengthen their connection to the community, and explore their Jewish identity in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether it's game nights, holiday celebrations, or hands-on mitzvah projects, our youth groups provide a space for kids to have fun, learn, and grow together.​

A night of fun, friendship, and adventure awaits at the the grade level shul-ins! This special overnight experience at the synagogue is filled with games, team challenges, creative activities, and meaningful Jewish moments. Participants will enjoy bonding with friends, engaging in interactive programming, and experiencing the excitement of spending the night in a sacred space. With plenty of laughter, learning, and late-night fun, the Shul-In is a memorable experience that builds community and deepens connections to Jewish life.
